The Cobras Sports Club, Inc. was founded July 2010 with one independent soccer team of U13 D2 boys coming straight from recreational soccer out of the Great Northwest CIA recreational program. We were founded on the principle that you don't have to pay a lot of money to develop soccer skills and learn to enjoy the game.
Soccer allows individuals the opportunity to express character through competition and helps young players learn key developmental skills like critical and tactical thinking, working with others to accomplish a common goal, discipline, respect, and self-esteem to name a few.
We incorporated on September 20, 2011 as a non-profit 501c(3) organization to structure and organize ourselves due to tremendous growth. All coaches and trainers are volunteers and all expenses, including the establishment and maintenance of this web site, are accomplished through fund raising activities and charitable donations. Training is provided by parents with soccer experience and volunteer high school students from area high schools.
The Cobras would like to make soccer free for any individual who wishes to truly develop a love for the game and all the positive character traits the sport helps an individual experience.
